Q: QuestionI have owned this j5create (JCD397) for a few months without any issues. Recently, the monitors flicker on and off and sometimes alternate the cycle. Looking closely at the resolution, it gets really grainy while this is happening. What can I do?

Resolution/refresh mismatch – Running monitors at high refresh rates or mixed resolutions can cause instability. 1. Test with different cables/monitors - Swap HDMI/DP cables with known good ones. - Try a single monitor at a time → see if it stabilizes. 2. Check power supply -The JCD397 supports up to 100W PD passthrough. - Make sure your laptop’s charger is powerful enough (e.g., 90–100W). - If you’re using a lower-wattage adapter, the dock may cut power from displays intermittently. 3. Update drivers & firmware - Update your graphics drivers (Intel, NVIDIA, AMD). - Check Windows Update for USB-C / Thunderbolt drivers. 4. Q: QuestionWill this work with a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i and keep it powered/charging?

Q: QuestionI've conected my laptop to a monitor with integrated speakers using the docking station and an HDMI cable. Although the image comes through I cannot get audio through the monitor. I've tried updating the driver, verified playback settings etc. Help?

• A:Answer In order to have the audio output through the device that you would prefer, it will require that you change the "Default playback device" for your computer. Click on the Windows 10 Start button, select Settings > Select System > Select Sound. From the drop-down menu under “Choose your output device”, select a device. E.g. Speakers (USB Audio), (Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio). Move the volume bar under “Master Volume” until you hear audio coming through your preferred playback device. At this point, the audio should play through the device that was selected.

Q: QuestionI saw the capability specs but I still have to ask if it will work for dual monitors with the HP Envy with Nvidia intel core i7 with GeForce RTX. I see it requires MST transport, I have 2 Thunderbolt USB-C which is supposedly the equivalent or better.

Q: QuestionWill a USB-C External Hard Drive work with this on my MBP 2022 model? The hard drive plugs directly into the MBP now (no separate power cord), so I am not sure if this hub will work?
