“I've conected my laptop to a monitor with integrated speakers using the docking station and an HDMI cable. Although the image comes through I cannot get audio through the monitor. I've tried updating the driver, verified playback settings etc. Help?”

In order to have the audio output through the device that you would prefer, it will require that you change the "Default playback device" for your computer. Click on the Windows 10 Start button, select Settings > Select System > Select Sound. From the drop-down menu under “Choose your output device”, select a device. E.g. Speakers (USB Audio), (Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio). Move the volume bar under “Master Volume” until you hear audio coming through your preferred playback device. At this point, the audio should play through the device that was selected.
