We are having the same issue. It only plays sound on videos, no picture. Very disappointed. I wasted $50 on something I can’t use.

Subscription based services, such as: Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Now, and many others, will generally be protected by HDCP. HDCP is a form of protection that is used to prevent video and audio content from being displayed on unsupported devices, to ultimately prevent unauthorized copying of the content. In order for subscription based services to be displayed onto an external display from your computer, your setup, from devices to cables to adapters to software drivers and displays, must all be HDCP compliant. We confirm that j5create USB display adapters are HDCP complaint. A few troubleshooting steps that you may want to try: (1)Ensure your Internet web browser is fully up-to-date. (2)Test with another Internet web browser, e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox (3)Cross-test with a different HDMI cable. (4)Connect the HDMI cable into a different HDMI input port on the display. (5)Restart the computer and display. If the issue persists, please ensure your other hardware is HDCP compliant.
