Hello Gel, The j5create - UltraDrive Mini Dock USB 3.0 and Mini DisplayPort Docking Station (JDD320) is designed specfically for use with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4/5/6. If you are using a Microsoft Surface Pro 4/5/6, you may use the JDD320 to add: 1 additional monitor over HDMI or Mini DisplayPort, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and 1 SD/Micro SD card reader to your computer. We intend for low-powered USB devices, such as flash drives, mice, and keyboards, to be connected to the USB ports on the JDD320. The USB 3.0 ports on the JDD320 offer <900mA of power. So long as the USB Monitor that you are using does not require >900mA, you should be able to use the USB Monitor through our device.
