• A:Answer This mini dock is configured to work with Microsoft Surface models 4, 5 and 6. It will not connect correctly to an iPad Pro. The JCD386 would work and give you the exact same connections.

• A:Answer Hello SJ, The j5create - UltraDrive Mini Dock USB 3.0 and Mini DisplayPort Docking Station (JDD320) is designed specifically for Microsoft Surface 4/5/6 tablets. The JDD320 has 2 separate connectors that need to be connected to the computer, a Mini DisplayPort and a USB 3.0, which are set to the specifications of Microsoft Surface 4/5/6 tablets. The Microsoft Surface Go, uses a USB-C connector instead of having a Mini DisplayPort and a USB 3.0 port. I recommend that you consider the j5create - USB Type-C Mini Docking Station (JCD381) or the j5create - USB Type-C Multi Adapter JCD383. The JUD381 is compatible with Windows and macOS computers that have a USB-C port and will support 2 HDMI displays. Although, you will have to switch your Surface Go tablet out of Windows 10 S Mode, in order to install driver software for the device to operate. The JCD383 offers 1 HDMI port, upon a variety of other ports, and is entirely plug-and-play.

• A:Answer Hi Hotch, unfortunately the JDD320 will only provide one additional monitor since it is plug and play device. • A:Answer The JDD320B is compatible wiith the Surface Pro 4, 5, and 6. However the device must be connected directly to the computer. It does not have a USB C connections so would not be compatible with the JCD543.

Q: QuestionCan you connect 2 external displays, a mouse, and keyboard? If so, can you leave the surface pro in tablet mode for hand-writing notes while simultaneously using the external mouse and keyboard for note taking on the external displays? Extend/duplicate

• A:Answer With the j5create JDD320, you can connect a mouse, keyboard, flash drive via USB-A and you can also connect either an HDMI or mini displayport through the JDD320 as well. Because the JDD320 is a plug-and-play device; no driver required, it can only support one external monitor at a time, and you cannot use both the HDMI and mini displayports at the same time. Yes, you can leave it in Tablet mode as that is a setting with Windows.

If you are using a Microsoft Surface Pro 4/5/6, you may use the JDD320 to add: 1 additional monitor over HDMI or Mini DisplayPort, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and 1 SD/Micro SD card reader to your computer. We intend for low-powered USB devices, such as flash drives, mice, and keyboards, to be connected to the USB ports on the JDD320. The USB 3.0 ports on the JDD320 offer <900mA of power. So long as the USB Monitor that you are using does not require >900mA, you should be able to use the USB Monitor through our device.
