The j5create UltraDrive Mini Dock USB 3.0 and Mini DisplayPort Docking Station (JDD320) is designed for specifically for Microsoft Surface Pro 4/5/6 tablets. Unfortunately, the j5create JDD320 will not be compatible with your HP Probook 650 G2 laptop. However, I recommend that you look at the j5creat USB 3.0 Mini Docking Station (JUD380) , USB Type-C Mini Docking Station (JCD381), or 6' DisplayPort-to-HDMI Cable (JDC158), as they will be compatible with a variety of computers such as your HP Probook 650 G2 laptop.

- Answer Thank you for submitting a question. Unfortunately, the JDD320 is specifically for the Surface Pro 4, 5 and 6 only. However, we do have a vast variety of display and docking stations available for Mac. I recommend taking a look at the JUD380, the JCD381, JCD543 for starters as they can support USB-A devices, monitors, Ethernet connection. QuestionDoes this charge my Surface pro 6? Can I connect a separate monitor and work independently from the Surface Pro 6?

QuestionI have the original Surface rt 32 gb. Does this docking unit fit WITHOUT interfering with the power connector ? I've purchased 2 different docking units and both overlap the power adapter footprint. i.e. I cannot plug in both the docker and the power
