• Unfortuatenly, not that will not work. You would need to be able to plug this device directly into your computer in order for the device to work properly.

• I am not sure. I am not a computer guru, but I assume it should. Also, I believe they have a docking station that uses a USB 3.0, so you could consider purchasing with a 3.0 connection and not have to worry about a converter.
