No, the USB-C Dual HDMI Mini Dock does not use DisplayLink software. The Mini Dock requires USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0 ((USB 3.0 is recommended) and an installation of a driver. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab. Thank you.
