I was able to look up the specs for the iPhone 8+ and I see it has a lightning connector on it and therefore the JCC153G will not be compatible with your iPhone unfortunately. If you wish to connect to a monitor with ha USB-C input, then I would recommend a JLC15 instead. • i was told that its for an android tech support was on help on the phone for 1hr twice n both time was disconnected

• This is a USB-C (Thunderbolt type) adapter and cannot be connected to your iPhone. you would want Model:MD826ZM/A Best Buy SKU:7007013 to connect an iPhone with HDMI.
