The USB-C to HDMI 2.1 8K Adapter will not work with the setup you are trying to accomplish via PS5 to a monitor. This Adapter connects using the USB-C side to a computer, tablet or mobile phone that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out to a display using the HDMI side. You will need to use HDMI cables, one side connects to PS5 and the other to your monitor.
