As long as you have the source. I use this connection to connect a desktop computer to a 70” flat screen tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Anything running on the computer being placed on the secondary screen (vga output) will be sent to the HDMI output of the adapter. Assuming you connect it to the TV and set the TVs input to the HDMI input, you can watch whatever you have dragged to the secondary screen. Note that the audio to the TV is from a USB connected audio adapter built in to this unit. Since the PC can only route audio to a single aduio adapter, choosing this USB unit as your audio, all sound from the PC will be routed to the TV when this adapter is chosen as the audio output. So the device connected (TV or whatever) to this adapter must be on and the input set to this HDMI to hear any audio froom the PC.
