• Yes, it will work with a splitter. We did this.

• You must connect the transmitter to a Computer, DVD Players, Gaming Consoles or a Cable Box (U-verse, Xfinity) and the receiver to a TV, Monitor, or Projector. The Rx and Tx would need to pair for it to work properly. I believe with an HDMI splitter it may not work.
