“what is the Hear through technology I read about in one of the replys. I would enjoy the other aspects of the headphones, but would enjoy some assist in in hearing”

Hey Thaddeus, The hear through tech is very cool. It allows you to hear everything going on in your surroundings by using the microphones in the earbuds. So say you're on a bus or waiting for one, you'll be able to hear everyone around you and all that jazz. Anytime I'm around public places I have it on for an added sense of safety. I can easily talk with people when I pause my music and get back to the music without taking the earbuds out.

Please try again later.You can select the heat through feature in the app or more conveniently on the right earbud when not on a call and when no music is playing you press the button on the ear buds twice and it switches it to the hear through feature and allows background noise to be heard. And to go back to blocking out noise just press the button on the right earbud two times when not on a call or listening to music.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I find this to be one of its best features. When HearThrough is turned on, it uses the noise cancellation mics to bring outside sound to your ears. I hear better with that feature on than I do without the earbuds in my ears.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Each headphone has 2 mics. One is for your voice. The other is to pick up outside noise and block it. It you use hear through it will allow those sounds to come through. It just a feature that will block unwanted outside sounds.

The HearThrough function, when enabled, allows you to hear environmental noise in certain situations for safety purposes. For example, you may want to enable HearThrough while walking through traffic, or listening for transportation announcements.

Through the Jabra app you can set it that if you turn it on it turns off music. Or you can have it on while music is playing. Personally, it is the best feature of the headphones. Allows me to keep in almost all day at work.
