The app is not needed - you pair it directly on the phone - the app is for workouts and to fine tune the headphones settings.

Please try again later.I’m not sure what the LG HRT is but of you don’t have the Jabra App and won’t be using the app personally does not make sense to me to get these ear buds. He fact that they do all of the music stuff amd phone call is awesome and the fact the can also track your health and activity is the icing on the cake, so if you only plan on using phone and music with no way of having the app you can get a lesser expensive option. And you can connect them to a Bluetooth enabled device without the app.
