“Can this be charged by plug in? Also, how long will it last to light up one chandelier? Please see attached photo. Also, can you recommend a battery that can charge multiple chandeliers lasting 5+ hours”

I am not able to see your attached photo but, I can answer your question. This will take some work but, let’s assume you light has 5 40w lights. That will put that at 200w for the total wattage for that light fixture. Assuming you have more or less lights, you can adjust that wattage accordingly, just know that the Jackery 240 holds 256Whrs of power at a full charge. For the 5 light example, this will power your light for about 1.25 hours. However, this is not efficient. There are many work lights that can deliver approximately the sam amount of lighting in linens that are much cheaper and more efficient. Consider the job and what the need is and plan accordingly for that. You should use the Jackery for things that can only be run on AC power and most of the other things, there are specialized devices for that that last much longer than this. You also will lose about 15-20% of your energy in the conversion from DC toAC.

The Jackery Explorer 290, while a versatile power solution, has a battery capacity of 290Wh and an output power limit of 200W. For optimal performance, dining room chandeliers typically require a total wattage of 200-400W depending on the room size. Unfortunately, the Explorer 290 may not be sufficient to power your chandelier if its wattage exceeds the unit's output capacity. For powering multiple chandeliers lasting 5+ hours, we recommend considering higher-capacity models such as: the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus (approx. 3.5 hours for a 300W chandelier), 2000 Plus (approx. 5.8 hours for a 300W chandelier), Solar Generator 1000 v2 (approx. 3 hours for a 300W chandelier), or Solar Generator 2000 v2 (approx. 5.8 hours for a 300W chandelier). These models offer extended power capabilities that are better suited for appliances with higher power demands. Should you have specific power consumption details for your chandeliers or need personalized advice, our customer service team is here to provide the support you need.
