Dear Customer, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this question. This Explorer 290 can power a standrad box fan around 3 to 8.6 hours. Becasue the lowest running watts of a space heater is more than 200W(the continuous output watts of Explorer 290), this item can not power a space heater.
