Can you just use just 1 earbud null

Yes I fact I do especially when I'm in my office. The manual describes how but basically when powered you just inset one earbud and you can hear from either side left or right. I have had these about a month now and love them the battery life is very good I'm getting almost 4.5hrs of continuous use. And I think they are still on sale at BB.
