Hey Nikki I had the same problem but I figured it out. Before you connect to JAM ULTRA make sure that you hold down the two buttons on each bud for about 3 seconds and then they will start to pair to one another and both lights will hold a solid blue which means they are paired. Then you connect to JAM ULTRA not JAM ULTRA MONO. That should fix the issue. Sorry for the late response just got these.
