QuestionWhy doesn't Best Buy sell the optional wristband required for the sleep tracker to function?This device requires an optional wristband for sleep tracking to function. The band is sold separately. Why doesn't Best Buy sell it?

- Answer I don't know why they don't sell it, but it's not required for sleep tracking, it can be clipped on a waste band or a shirt while you sleep.

- Answer If you don't use a phone or tablet, the only thing you'll see on the Up is the approximate amount of steps you take or the hours of sleep. But if you attain the goal of 10,000 steps or 8 hours of sleep, it goes round and round.

- Answer I have yet to find a web-based app so far which seems silly in 2015. As for data retention I have gone two days on my and it syced perfectly. According to the FAQ on jawbone's site it is supposed to contain 2 weeks worth of data.

- Answer It seems to be rain/splash proof. Documentation says it's water resistant. I wouldn't wear it in the shower.

QuestionIs it water resistant?The Specifications section says "Yes" for whether or not it is water resistant but in a seperate section listing depth of water resistence it says "0 feet." Can someone clarify for me? I work in a veterinary hospital at one job and as a caregiver at my other job, so whatever tracker I choose needs to be able to stand up with being washed frequently when I wash my hands, and handle wear in the shower as well, even if it isn't for swimming with.

- Answer It is recommended that you remove your tracker when you swim or bath but I have shoveled snow and run in rainy weather with it on.
