- Answer The band is not waterproof and is not recommended for swimming. It can be splashed or worn in rain however.

- Answer To my knowledge, the ability to change the battery in the Jawbone UP2 does not exist. It is a single piece.

- Answer I think so..as long as it fits his wrist well so you can get an accurate readings. He could log in and invite his friends to compare his stops and sleeping.

QuestionHow good is the vibrating alarm on the UP2?Approx how many seconds does it last? does it automatically repeat if not deactivated? I used to own a fitbit and the vibrating alarm worked well, but the fitbit fell off easily (until one day I lost it). Thanks.

QuestionHow accurate is the UP2?I have some hard core classes (bootcamp and taebo) that I take where I know I burn a lot of calories, but the tracker I have now says it's like 300-400 calories burned in each class...which I know is ridiculous because it should be at least 1000 calories burned!! How accurate is the UP2 with calories burned?
