• You no longer need to physically plug the device in to the Phone to sync. Syncing is performed automatically via Bluetooth when you go into the App.

• The UP2 syncs via Bluetooth with a smartphone having the purple UP app.

• No need to plug it in. Just open the app and it automatically updates.

• No plugging in necessary. The only time I have it connected to my computer is for charging.

• It updates I believe via bluetooth, you do not have to do anything for it to synch, though it will occasionally ask you to verify your sleep period and you select the times.

• Your band syncs with Bluetooth. The older versions of the up bands sync by plugging into the audio jack

• It's up dates on your phone. But you have to have Bluetooth turned on in order to sync it.
