“Is this waterproof?”

• It is water resistant. I take mine in the shower, and it's going to be fine in a rain storm, but it isn't recommended for swimming. I personally wouldn't hesitate to take it into the pool for laps, but it's not made to handle the pressures of deeper underwater use.

• Not waterproof! Water repellent but I don't wear it in the shower.

• Not completely. I had to dry it out after I took a shower while wearing it. Now I just don't wear it in the shower.

• It is not waterproof, but splash proof based on Jawbone's website. Below is an excerpt from there website's FAQ. The UP3™ band is rain, splash and sweat-resistant. However you should remove your UP3™ before showering, swimming, surfing or exposure to other extreme conditions and activities like saunas and steam rooms. Do not submerge your UP3™ in liquids, including hot tubs or baths, at any time.
