Yes! As long as you tighten it after clamping it on. There’s a rubber piece that lines the inside of the clamp that tightens the grip once you pull on the rubber tab.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will probably hold ok if the bar is the right diameter to fit in the clamp well because the clamp’s spring strength is pretty strong. However, you may get some vibration of the camera due to the length of the arm so it would be best to have a camera with image stabilazition. There are roll bar mounts that would probably work better for that application. I always used a suction mount on the front or back glass for track use.
