No, I believe it's a micro B type.

Please try again later.No it uses a micro usb cable that charges up the rechargeable battery unit, which connects to the headphones via 5 connective charging prongs on the side where the play, volume up/fine buttons are. So you can charge the battery unit separately, and when you have low battery in your headphones, u don’t have to use the cable and plug the headphones to charge. Simply attach the battery unit to the 5 charging prongs in the headphones and voila
