• I sweat a lot during my workouts and have had no issues with the controller. I imagine there will be issues if submerged.

• Yes most definitely. I'm sweat quite a lot due to illness and found that these hold up great to water! In addition - I've used them while shoveling snow with ear wraps on and again sweated quite heavily with no negative consequence.
