The mic is not very good pount blank but if you are having issues with volume try going into the app and opening the button controls so you can change the volume when you hold the buttons to change volume.

Ask for the second part of your question these headphones seem to use some sort of digital noise cancellation for calls, this can make your voice sound soft if you are not speaking loudly or if there is a lot of noise in the background. This noise can be anything from birds chirping to wind. I found a cure for this is to cup my hand over my ear during a call to block wind noise, this seems to make my voice more clear on the other end of the phone.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When I changed to “flat” setting in my phone’s native EQ, I’ve noticed that volume went up significantly, at least when playing music... I would assume that same may happen for “on call” situations...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try just using one bud for calls. These buds do not have an ambient noise pass through, because they are more used for cancelling out ambient noises while working out, so it's easier to enjoy your music. If you use just one bud during a call it will sound more natural to you, and you will be speaking at a normal level, making it easier for others to hear you.
