For the X3’s, the proprietary charging adapter allow Jaybird to claim the headphones are “sweat proof”, but they are not water “proof”, only water resistant. I have been using them for about two months and have had no issues and I sweat profusely during my workouts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've used both. Have had no problems with sweat on either. I do love the x3s though
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also considered buying the Freedom model, but ultimately went with the X3 for that reason. A lot of reviews on many sites said the Freedoms did not hold up well to sweat. I sweat a lot during workouts, so that was definitely one of my biggest concerns. The X3's have worked great so far using them during exercise daily for two months now, and the remote is very light.
