I have tried the Bose SoundSport headphones they are not noise cancelling but do a fair job of blocking out sound. The Jaybird X3 do a great job with the foam tips that come with them. They remind me of foam earplugs. You compress them and stick them in your ear and they expand to fill your ear canal. It blocks out a lot of sound. The sound is on par with Bose and actually dare I say, better? Why? They sound is good out of the box, but what really sold me was the My Sound app (Free from Jaybird) you can customize the EQ settings and save them to your hearts content. You can have an EQ for hip hop, rock, country etc. There are a lot of EQ presets available in the app or you can make your own. Listening to all of your music through the same EQ settings is kind of limiting. To really appreciate these headphones you have to play around with them and then you will like the ability to change it up. It's great. Bose is great. But these are better. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think they sound good. Personally I feel bose are great in terms of a speaker you might have in a room b/c you can have the base up loud enough to tell difference or possibly over the ear headphones (although that is a stretch b/c I don't think you can have sound loud enough to notice huge difference if you are comparing to other good quality headphones) but in ear headphone I notice no difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think they are as good.
