“I know the speakers have the auto off feature, Can I turn that off? They keep powering down, while I'm using my computer. I want them to stay on, so that when I get an email, I can hear the sound. I always leave my speakers on because of email.”

In the user manual, which you can download on the product page if you no longer have it, it gives you the method to turn of auto standby.
