“I recently purchased this for a gift for a friend and when hooking everything up I get audio perfectly fine both through Optical and HDMI ARC however the subwoofer never connects there is no instruction anywhere on how to connect to the subwoofer”

• You might have to make sure your BlueTooth is on thru the TV settings. Seems to be how ours works.

• The subwoofer is a wireless connection using blue tooth. The only connection going to the sub is the power cord.
