• You probably don't have to find and buy an amp to power these but I did and it made a world of difference I would suggest buying an amp to power these

• I put a set in in late November and they slip right in using the original mounting plates. You will need to extend the wires by about 4 inches. So if they have a wire extension kit, I recommend buying that. Or you can lengthen the wires like I did. Save your self the trouble and buy the extension kit. Also get a panel tool to take the panels apart.
