Have u tried to upgrade the speaker's firmware to correct this. And or you could have a wireless device that is interfering with the blue tooth signal and need an update! Someone had similar problem; tracked it down to Mac computer. Toggled the bluetooth off and back on and it fixed the JBL problem. Weird, since the JBL was never connected to the Mac. Also, make use of the Ethernet port if you can. This helps isolate connectivity to the JBL device only. (Not the rear spkr)., but may indeed help to connect that lost spkr signal!
