• Hello, the rear speaker mounts are allow for quick connect and disconnect from the wall mount in order to attach them back to the main speaker bar. They also have USB ports in order to charge them while they are still mounted. I usually leave mine attached to the main speaker until I want to watch a movie, then I move them back behind us. If you wanted to leave them back there, you just have to plug them in. Very easy to use.
