I've had mine for perhaps a month. Love it! However.... yesterday it stopped making any sound whatsoever, it's like it's completely dead! Can't even do the hard reset. The weird thing is that, right in the area you mention, it is so hot that I can literally only put my hand on that area for 1 or 2 seconds max. I'd love to know why a machine that is not doing ANYTHING is getting searing hot! An I at risk for a fire here?? Meanwhile, I'm searching the Q & A on this product, looking for a solution to my problem....
