I would buy the 9.1. Based on all of the reviews I've read and trust me I've read a lot. Customers who have either had or tested both systems say that the 9.1 is a much better. I love the sound and the rear speakers are louder than both the Vizio SB36512-F6, and the Nakamichi - 7.2.4. I tried both systems and was disappointed with both. Go for the JBL 9.1 I would wait to see if it goes on sale again for Christmas.
