“Do both rear speakers have cords with plug ins. I don't want to have to charge them. Also, I have read the rear speakers are kind of quiet. Does the remote allow for different setting depending on what you are watching. Like movie more or sports mode?”

Our JBL Bar 1000MK2 uses detachable, battery‑powered wireless rear speakers, which can be charged by either docking them onto the main soundbar, or by using any USB-C cable (not included). There is no option to keep them permanently wired (passive) during use, as they are designed to be fully wireless surround. The main bar produces most of the sound, and the rear speakers are there to enhance immersion with the surround sound effect, and the surround sound level can be adjusted between middle, high, muted, or low. We advise you to download the JBL One app, where you can customize the sound to your liking using the precise equalizer.
