Sound Bar replacing Bose 1 2 3 sound system

I like the wireless feature so there isn't the tangle of cables to connect. I wasn't able to place the detachable speakers per the guidelines. Is this why the sound is soft unless I turn volume up which I can't do when my wife is asleep.

Right speaker didnt work when it wasn’t docked and it wouldnt charge. I exchanged it and after 3 days same issue. I was told it was a defect but surround sound was really low when speakers werent docked. For $1200 there are better ones. This by far was one of the worst purchases
