• No, our JBL Boombox 1 has the JBL Connect+ feature while our JBL Boombox 2 has the new and improved JBL PartyBoost feature. as hardware changes have been made to ensure connection stability, our JBL Boombox 2 isn't backwards compatible with the JBL Connect+ feature and can't be connected with each other.

• Yes and they sound amazing!! Sometimes you have to resync them but still works awesome!
