No, it will not damage the speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, the reason the bass is better in a confined space is because the pressure waves have no room to expand. The just reverberate of the walls of the confined space. And I guess technically in an airtight space like a vacuum it wouldn't make any noise.
