I have done hundreds of friends/customers I highly recommend installing 2" below the bottom of your TV. Told them all and 50+ percent have spackle above the Tab on the wall with the unit on the TV stand right under the TV. Believe me have friends hold above the TV and you will see what I mean. And Sub woofers, particularly on a hard wood floor not more the 2" from the wall and 2 to 3 feet away from the right side of the sound bar. They are designed for this placement. Call a reputable vendor and I'm sure they will agree. It's in most installation instructions. Hope that covers it. Feel free to get back with more questions. No Problem....,.. GrandNationalMike
