• I’m assuming it would as I have a Vizio TV and am able to only use the TV remote

This setup allows for better integration, and in most cases, your TV remote can control the soundbar's volume once HDMI-CEC is enabled. Please know that full compatibility with all HDMI-CEC devices is not guaranteed. You may contact your TV manufacturer if you have problems with the HDMI-CEC compatibility of your TV.
