Thanks for your question. Generally, when you connect a soundbar, like the JBL Cinema SB570, to your TV using an HDMI cable through the ARC/eARC ports, the TV will automatically recognize it as the default audio output device. If your TV also has CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) enabled, you can use a single remote (either the TV's or the soundbar's) to control both devices' power and volume.
