Q: QuestionI have 2 of these subs 12" MA Audio Dual 4 ohms Competition Sub Peak: 700 watts RMS: 350 watts in a ported box connected to a JBL club 5501; When i wire them into a 2 ohm or a 4 ohm the amp goes into protection when a low deep bass hits, why is that?
Asked by Bert504.
- A:Answer If you have them wire in parallel then that means the amp is trying to do a 1ohm load and the amp is not capable of doing a 1 ohm load. You'll need a bigger amp that can do 750- 800 watts rms into 1 ohm to really power those subs
Answered by Jaymac
Q: QuestionI see that this amp outputs 550w rms @2 ohms. Does this mean it can send 550w rms to each sub if I pair it to two subs? I do see two subwoofer outputs on the amp. However I'm not sure if it would split the 550w between the two subs or if each sub?
Asked by Baybeast.
- A:Answer I have a 2400w dual coil 15 ”audiopie this amplifier is fine Pat that increases power
