“I have a VW jetta SE 2012 I believe this car has 4 speakers. I am looking at these JBL speakers but it says 2 way speakers. Would i have to buy 2 sets of these and remove the 4 speakers already in the car and replace them with the 4 jbl speakers?”

The two way speakers means the main speaker has a second tweeter for the higher range of sound. The box has a pair of speakers in it. So you would need two pairs if your car has four speakers
