• If you're buying a used or open-box you might consider a geek squad warranty, otherwise, if it's new it's already covered for 1 year by JBL.

• If the headphones are for myself, I would consider the extended warranty, but as a gift, definitely not.

• Hello! Geek Squad's warranty will be more of BestBuy's warranty and not JBL as we only have 1 year manufacturers warranty and we do not offer extensions.
