“My ear buds (another brand) cut out after 5 min in the gym steam room. After cooling off they work perfectly so I believe it's a thermal rather than moisture issue. Can JBL Endurance Peak 2's handle the heat of a gym steam room (110 -120 degrees F)”

I was in the suana for about 15 min, they stayed on without any issue, though i have not tried the steam room
