“I am able to pair these devices with in windows 7 but cannot get it to play through the JBL headset. There are no services with this bluetooth device. Under Start->Devices and Printers->JBL Everest 300->services tab ... for me it is empty.”

Same issue with mine as well, for some reason connecting to a laptop or computer through Bluetooth doesn't work. Luckily I have a audio jack extension connected to my destop and just listen in with the jack plugged in.
