If connected through Bluetooth, this is inherent to all Bluetooth speakers like the Flip 4. The Flip 4 was not designed to be connected to a TV. To try and fix this, check if your TV has an aux(headphone) jack and connect your JBL Flip 4 to it instead of through Bluetooth.
