Q: Questionwhat is difference between the 4 and the 5. Can you sync 2 of the flip 5 speakers to get stereo sound like the 4's?

• A:Answer You can sync two together with the party boost mode for a stereo "like" sound and you can pair two together with JBL's app for true stereo but I've heard it was a big hassle and buggy so I haven't tried. The 4s will not sync with the 5s.

• A:Answer You can try to use a bike speaker holder to mount the JBL Flip 5 to your electric scooter. Make sure that the speaker is securely mounted to prevent it from falling off.

• A:Answer Our JBL Flip 5 has a range of about 10 meters. More than that, the signal will get unstable.

Q: QuestionI have had my device for only a couple days. It is not loud at all. When I try and turn it up it makes a thud noise. Thud noise is loud but thats about it.

The JBL Flip 6 offers USB-C charging protection. That means a reminder sound will alert you to unplug if the connector detects water, salt, or any other chemicals. Wirelessly connect up to 2 smartphones or tablets to the speaker. The external body of the speaker has a mini stand to avoid it from rolling.

• A:Answer You are going to need to find one that has basic bluetooth (isnt compatible with (APT.X/AAC) because the jbl flip 5 is not compatible with those higher end audio codecs as it only uses Bluetooth 4.2 (bluetooth 5.0 has APT.X/AAC compatibility) Those APT.x/AAC are high quality sound codecs (sound better)

• A:Answer No this speaker will not send power through the cable (it is only able to receive power) although if you really want this feature you can go get the jbl charge 4,3/ extreme 1, 2, or 3/boombox 1, or 2 because they all have a normal usb port with a charging bank feature made for sharing power to other devices

• A:Answer My question to your question is, why do you need to know the wattage? wattage is important if you are paring a speaker to an amp. In this case it is matched by JBL. Normally when someone ask the "wattage" question it is because they parallel volume in Db to wattage. It is loud enough to get a knock on your door if you have it on 3/4 volume in a hotel room. it will not replace a home stereo sound system but it gives you all you need to take great sound on the go in a small setting. Perfect for camping, boat hotel beach ect.

Q: Questionif i purchase the JBL flip 5 and receive a phone call, could i use the speaker to speak through. I have the JBL charger 4 and it only allows to play music ect. My son has a flip 4 and it allowed me to speak to family when a call was made. Just wondering

Q: QuestionWe've had 2 Harman Kardon Onyx Minis so far -- FABULOUS sound! -- and in both cases the charging port has eventually (one rather quickly) worn out! Won't take a charge, the USB cord wiggles in the port, etc. How will the Flip 5 be different, better?

• A:Answer I haven't had any problems charging at all. The battery lasts a long time as well. Plugging the JBL Flip 5 is solid. No wiggling at all.

• A:Answer unknown about the Boombox 2. About the flip 5 though, JBL has an app that you can set it up to be L/R with 2 flip 5s (I only have one, but I saw in the directions how to set it up in the app, its basically all the app does)

• A:Answer I would say yes probably but it does not have much low end especially at loud volumes. I have 2 of these and you can sink them and play them together and add more volume if needed.
