I am sorry but there is a HUGE difference in the sound between the JBL Flip 6 model with serial number starting with GG VS TL. There are multiple YouTube videos explaining the differences between the two versions and clearly the specs and/or the sound quality aren't the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The one I purchased is an amazing GG version! I got the grey. It’s the best speaker!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The serial number on the actual Flip 6 speaker is where the rope ties to the speaker. There will be a label identifying which version of the speaker you have. If you have a speaker with the serial number starting with either GG or ND, these are made in China versus TT or TL which are made in Vietnam.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.TT version got better base with resent firmware update!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There’s no label on the speaker, but the serial number on the box it came in starts with a TL. Not sure if that’s just a coincidence.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. How can I tell my JBL flip six is a TL model
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Now the tables has turned the flip 6 gg is better than the flip 6 tl as the flip 6 tl tends to struggle playing low frequency’s due to it having a plastic cone but the gg is great at recreating low frequency and better High frequency since it’s cone is made of paper which is just as durable. (Don’t think I’m wrong since I own both the gg and to and has conducted a lot of bass tests)
